To equate AI solely with a defensive capability is to do it a disservice because it’s not. The same technology makes attackers’ lives a lot easier. Malware now alters its own code to avoid detection. What Comes Next
Nobody has full certainty about where this all leads. A few things already look solid, though: attacks will keep getting more automated, defenses will keep leaning harder on machine learning, and individual users will still need the basics — updated software, strong passwords, a bit of healthy skepticism, and secure connections whenever working outside a trusted network.
