LONDON, 13 th July 2021 – OenoHouse, the premier London flagship commercial space for the fine wine investment company OenoGroup (“Oeno” or “OenoFuture Ltd”), will be an elegant fine wine boutique with a private 12-person tasting room and outside alfresco terrace. An intimate space in the heart of the city, OenoHouse will be a top fine wine shop where wine lovers can sample and purchase rare and iconic wines from all over the world. Led by a team of international wine experts, OenoHouse will welcome a rotation of pop-up appearances from some of their favourite brands such as Penfolds, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, and Liber Pater which will attract fine wine collectors and consumers alike. Iconic wines served at the launch will include Château Haut-Brion, Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Latour and Château Margaux.
All of them will be the 2005 vintage, an exceptional vintage, which has both maturity and approachability. OenoHouse is run by an all-female team. Newly appointed General Manager Luisa Martinello, former Manager of Harrod’s wine shop, is joined by Assistant General Manager Katerin D’Alfonso who was former head sommelier at Browns Hotel. The OenoHouse communications team is led by Alice Longhurst-Jones as Head of Marketing and Claudia Jakubowski as Marketing & Events Assistant. Oeno (pronounced “Oh-Way-No”) is named after oenology (the study of wine or “oinos” from Ancient Greek). The OenoGroup is a culmination of fine wine investment “OenoFuture”, wine trade “OenoTrade”, and the new London wine boutique “OenoHouse”.
Oeno has offices in London, Madrid, Bordeaux, Tuscany, New York, and Munich. Founded by Italian wine expert Daniel Carnio in 2015, OenoFuture is a personalised wine advisory service born out of a vision to make the fine wine market accessible to all investors regardless of their exposure to the industry. In 2017, former city traders Michael Doerr (Oeno MD) and Daniel Walker (Oeno Head of Investment) joined the business and successfully increased turnover whilst gradually implementing 36 full time key staff over the past 4 years like Master of Wine Justin Knock (Oeno Chief Wine Analyst), Mattia Tabacco (Head of Oeno’s Anti-Fraud Unit) and Spain’s 1 st female Master of Wine Almudena Alberca (Oeno’s Brand Ambassador of Spain).

The auction included rare large format wines such as three double magnums of Gaja Barbaresco signed by Angelo Gaja and a stunning glass sculpture by Giancarlo Signoretto inspired by Picasso’s painting of Marie-Therese Walter.
In March 2021, Oeno notably sold a £173,000 30L Melchizedek of Boërl & Kroff champagne 1995 bottle, 1 of only 4 in the world. In May 2021, Oeno Co-Founder Daniel Carnio spoke at Madrid Fusion. As part of Oeno’s relaunch in Madrid Oeno House hosted a private tasting at the Hotel Santo Mauro in for 25 top media and wine press. The guests tasted the best fine wines on the planet with Daniel Carnio and Almudena Alberca MW (Oeno Brand Ambassador in Spain). The wines that were tasted: B de Boërl & Kroff 2012, Remoissenet Pere & Fils Montrachet Grand Cru 2011, Montevertine Le Pergole Torte 2016 (3000ml), Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2018, Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Penfolds Grange Bin 95 2008. Daniel Carnio was then invited to attend a round table discussion on the fine wine industry and how wine investment works.
Presently, the OenoGroup has approximately 3,000 clients from politicians, sports stars to billionaires. Oeno is launching an exclusive client-only app in late Summer 2021 and they plan to open a Miami office in early 2022. Oeno’s prestigious trade accounts include L’Enclume, Bibendum, City Social, 67 Pall Mall, Cavalry and Guards Club, The Standard Hotel, The Cinnamon Club, Park Chinois, Wilton’s, Meraki, Kahani, Heckfield Place, St Swithin’s Wine Shippers, RC Group and Tosi. OenoFuture was recently awarded Fine Wine Investment Firm of the Year for 2019 at The European Global Business & Finance Awards.
