SubscribeAdd luxuries to your office space
A way to improve your office space is to add some touches of luxury, which your employees will appreciate. As mentioned above, a coffee machine is a must as this will give them their daily caffeine hit. Having a nice hand cream and soap in the bathroom is a nice touch and so is having a scent that makes the building smell nice – this can be done through candles, incense or air fresheners. A lot of companies will offer Friday drinks where employees can enjoy a glass of wine, a beer or maybe a cocktail, such as a mojito in a can! This is a good way to wind the week down and look forward to the weekend.
Invest in plants
Another popular method to improve your office space is to use plants. Plants add another dynamic to your space, they are good for your mental health and they look pretty – they are also very affordable. You can get many different types of plants, some of which are easier to look after and some that will fit in unique spaces. Our advice would be to visit your local garden centre for some inspiration. If you need some inspiration from online, social media channels like Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest are also good places to start.
Declutter your workplace
Clutter is one of the biggest culprits for turning a well-presented office into a messy one. So many office interiors are covered in loose papers, pens and notebooks, as well as many wires. Set a dedicated amount of time each week to clear out things that you no longer need. A lot of businesses have gone paperless as you can store most things in the cloud – is this something that you could do?
