The conference is anticipated to host more than 600 participants from internationally recognized institutions, including Mayo Clinic, UPMC, Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University, Harvard University, MIT, Stanford University, Penn State University, and the U.S. National Institutes of Health. Four Nobel Laureates will take part in the program, underscoring the meeting’s position as one of the world’s premier scientific forums at the intersection of computational science, genomics, and clinical medicine.

According to the organisers, the involvement of industry partners plays an important role in bridging the gap between research and application. By bringing together scientists, clinicians, and companies in one setting, the conference aims to foster partnerships that can lead to innovation, commercial development, and improved healthcare solutions. In parallel with the academic programme, ISABS is also inviting companies and organisations to participate as sponsors and exhibitors. Businesses operating in biotechnology, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and related fields are encouraged to showcase their products and services to a highly specialised audience. The conference exhibition area will provide opportunities for direct interaction between industry representatives and conference participants, supporting collaboration and knowledge exchange.

“Artificial intelligence represents a fundamental shift in the way we understand, diagnose, and treat disease,” said Prof. Dragan Primorac, M.D., Ph.D. Founder and President of the International Society for Applied Biological Sciences (ISABS). “By uniting experts across computational biology, genomics, and clinical care, this conference will help define the next era of precision medicine.”

The event is coorganized by ISABS and Mayo Clinic, with St. Catherine Specialty Hospital serving as a key partner. Major institutional supporters include the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Croatian Medical Association, the International Center for Applied Biological Research, the Institute for Anthropological Research, the Croatian Society for Human Genetics, and the Croatian Society for Personalized Medicine. The official journal of the conference is the Croatian Medical Journal.

Registration for the conference is now open with early registration rates available for a limited period. Abstract submission deadlines are approaching, and interested participants are encouraged to apply early. ISABS extends an invitation to sponsors to participate in a conference that unites Nobel laureates, worldrenowned scientists, and key industry leaders shaping the future of modern medicine. By calling on experts and companies to take part, ISABS aims to create a dynamic and inclusive forum that supports scientific progress and international cooperation. The upcoming conference in Dubrovnik is expected to play an important role in shaping future research directions and strengthening connections across the global scientific community.

The UNESCOlisted city of Dubrovnik will provide a historic and inspiring backdrop as participants explore both opportunities and challenges in AI adoption, including algorithm validation, integration into clinical workflows, data governance, and the responsible use of health information.
