Vladimir Ruga, Deputy General Director for External Communications at Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), has resigned from the management board of the company and, according to a source close to the company, is leaving MMK.

This is reported by the Russian news agency Regnum. Vladimir Ruga joined MMK in 2010 as External Communications Director. Previously he headed the communications department at companies that included Sibneft and TNK-BP. PJSC MMK is one of the world’s largest steel producers and is a leader among Russian ferrous metallurgy companies.

The company’s assets in Russia are comprised of a large metallurgical complex with a full production cycle, from preparation of iron ore raw materials to deep processing of ferrous metals.
